This article is related to concept of preemption in just-in-time single machine shop with allowable machine idle time. According to the operation research model of this problem, Lingo software can easily solve small problems, but it cannot solve the average and big problems. The purpose of this article is to provide a simulated annealing algorithm for solving this problem. The suggested simulated annealing algorithm gives the answers, which are quite close to the optimal solution in the tested problems. The runtime solution problem by using the suggested algorithm is much less than by using the Lingo software. The numerical examples show that the efficiency of SA algorithm is quite high. Keywords

In this paper, the best setting for primitive parameters of simulated annealing fitted on traveling salesman problem is selected by using the design of experiment, response surface methodology and goal programming. There are 6 parameters in that 3 of them are tuned on two-up and down- levels. The three others are tuned on multi levels. A factorial plan 23 with 4 central points is used for two-level parameters. Multilevel parameters are tuned by design of experiment. At the end a goal programming model is used to select the best parameters. Keywords

One of the problems in stages of different projects is frequent delay in their completion. The most important reason is existence of risk and internal and external uncertainties. To solve this problem a program is needed to manage the risks and uncertainties and reduce their impacts on the objectives of the project. In this paper, a quantitative analysis of the risks in industrial investment project is suggested using database supported by Topsis algorithm. By using Visual Basic software, a program is designed to identify the project risks. Keywords

The present research intends to study any relation between organizational culture and suggestions system. It is an explanatory one from among different types of applicable researches and from method viewpoint. Therefore two separated questionnaires were applied for this purpose. The first one is related to organizational culture with 23 closed questions. The second one is related to measuring any cooperation through suggestions system. Upon ensuring about narration and survival of measuring tools, both questionnaires were distributed among members of a sample consisting of 30 persons of a statistical population including headquarter personnel of quarter areas of Education Department. According to the findings, there is a meaningful relation between organizational culture parameters and suggestions system. Finally there are some proposals for betterment and upgrading all cultural dimensions in order to have more promotion of suggestions system in mentioned organization. Keywords

In this paper, the locating problem was studied by considering a network of nodes and edges, and also two types of facilities which were defined for locating on nodes. It was assumed that there were three types of consumers, which were classified according to their demands. The first and the second types of them referred to one facility of the first or the second, but the third type of consumers needed the two facilities-the first and the second. These consumers according to their distance to the facilities based on a specified probability, referred to the facilities and solved their problems. Considering the existence of competitors in the market, the aim of this issue is to maximize market share for the new facilities. To solve the problem the hybrid genetic algorithm was used. Keywords
